Prajna Paramita is known as the Buddhist goddess of compassion and wisdom.  This photo was taken at the Spirit Rock Meditation Centre in California.

This beautiful statue of Prajna Paramita (the goddess of wisdom and compassion) stands behind the meditation hall at Spirit Rock Meditation Centre, near Woodacre, California.

This impressive Buddha statue stands 60ft tall at Wat Phu That temple in Oudamxai, northern Laos. When I saw this statue silhouetted against the hills, it emanated a sense of protection.

It was an exquisite morning at Amitabha Stupa with the brightly coloured prayer flags flying in the wind against the deep blue sky. This stupa is located in Sedona's Peace Park. Chimney Rock stands tall in the background.  

While visiting Bantaey Srai temple, one of the Angkor Wat temples, I saw this beautiful offering held in the intricately carved doorways leading to the heart of the temple. 

This image was taken in Ta Prohm, one of the temples in the Angkor Wat complex, located near Siem Reap in Cambodia. As so beautifully seen here, these ancient temples are completely entwined with nature.

This  beautiful stone sculpture of the "waking angel" lives in our front garden. Her healing presence is strongly felt by many people who are drawn to spend a little time with her.
